Your pack shipment

Packages are generally dispatched within 2 days after receipt of payment and are shipped via UPS with tracking and drop-off without signature. If you prefer delivery by UPS Extra with required signature, an additional cost will be applied, so please contact us before choosing this method. Whichever shipment choice you make, we will provide you with a link to track your package online.

Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.

Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected.

I am not a merchant, can I buy directly from you?
‘This site is open to retail traders and individuals. Merchants will benefit from their usual discount.

Our chinaware is mainly imported from Central Europe, especially from Poland and Romania.

What is porcelain?
Porcelain is composed of natural materials of clay (kaolin), rocks (feldspar and quartz) and fresh water. The paste obtained from this mixture is cut into patties and then deposited on plaster molds of the shape of the plate or the desired product. Kaolin is the main ingredient of true porcelain. After a first cooking at 900ºC, this “biscuit” is immersed in an enamel bath and then annealed at 1400ºC for 15 to 30 hours.
Are your products machine washable?
Our porcelain dishes are dishwasher safe and microwave safe.

Once our order has been placed, how can we receive our goods?
You can pick up your order on site otherwise, we use carriers such as Canpar, Loomis Express, Apex Motor Express and others; we always store the best carrier to deliver your goods in good condition and at a good price. We are part of the “Canadian Gift and Tableware Association” (CGTA) so we take advantage of great rates. The price of transport is pre-paid on your bill, so you will not have an account to settle with the driver or the transport company. We can also use the carrier you want if you have an account with him but at this time, FORMENTON can not be responsible for loss or breakage of merchandise.
What if we receive goods broken by transport?
If a box is delivered in bad condition, or with obvious signs of mishandling, it is absolutely necessary to mention it to the driver in order to sign a report. Once the driver has left, contact us. In no case do you wait for a driver while you open your merchandise, we may make you pay for lost time. If you discover breakages after the driver has left, contact us within 48 hours of receipt of the package (s). Depending on the situation, we will do what is necessary. Please do not issue a credit note or return merchandise without authorization from FORMENTON. The parcel will be refused and a fee will be charged.
